Access eCommerce Guide

About Access eCommerce

Access Minnesota Main Street connects small- to medium-sized businesses to the Internet, electronic commerce, and global trade.

University of Minnesota Extension developed the Access Minnesota Main Street eCommerce curriculum in 1998 for owners of small rural businesses. The program enables small businesses to find new markets, use the Internet as an effective business tool and participate in the global economy. In addition to the online curriculum, the program offers hands-on workshop materials to help introduce the program to business owners. Today, twelve states have licensed the online curriculum and the hands-on workshop materials for their own use.

For more information about the Access Minnesota Main Street eCommerce program, contact: Rae Montgomery at info@accessE.info

The Access eCommerce curriculum is authored and updated by Dana Noonan, Internet Consultant (www.infomaven.com) under contract with University of Minnesota Extension. Dana is also the author of the Access eGovernment and Access eNonProfit tutorials and the State and Local Government on the Net index.

The program was developed by Rae Montgomery and Bill Bomash in 1998 with the assistance of Dana Noonan, Dorene Davick, Karen Matthes and Siobhan Kane.
